Ochiagha Oparaukwu Ibeku ,Prince B.B Apugo,has stressed the need for Women and Children welfare to be properly considered in the midsts of Coronavirus pandemic.
Apugo stated this today, during the extension of his Palliative program to the Army and Police in the State.
He said women are to be carted for as the Covid-19 pandemic has brought hard times upon the people, hence the need for love and care to be showed to those who are considered vulnerable at the time.
Presenting the Palliatives ,Martin Ikechukwu Apugo said the food delivery was necessary due to the effects of Coronavirus in the Country,adding that Army and Police were included in the program because the Officers who labour for peace and security have Wives as well as Children.
He urged them to ensure the needy amongst them are been given the food items.
Recieving the bags of Rice,the Police Public Relations Officer,Abia State Command ,DSP Geoffrey Ogbonna who represented Abia Commissioner of Police, applauded Apugo for his generosity,saying that it is timely and will serve the purpose that it is meant for.

expressed excitement at the gestures of Apugo and thanked him for identifying with the Army.
He said the relief was an indication that there are still good people around who cares for the welfare of those in need.
