Abia APC Chapter Commiserates with Hon. Martin Apugo.


The Abia State Executive Council of the All Progressive Congress (APC) commiserated with the immediate Federal House of Representatives aspirant of Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency, Hon. Martin Ikechukwu Apugo, over the Death of his Mother, Deacones, Dorathy Apugo which occurred recently.

The Chairman of the party, Hon. Donatus Nwamkpa, who led members of the Executive Council to the residence of Hon. Martin Apugo expressed sincere condolences to the family, adding that “they should take it as the will of the almighty God which we can not prevail”.
Hon Nwankpa urged the Apugo’s to beat the fortitude at this challenging moment adding that Mama Dorathy has left a legacy having produced them as valuable men and women whom the society looks up to today.

Nwamkpa further prayed the family to sustain the unity, peace and love to one another which their mother wished for and also continue to render services to humanity.

He pray God to console the family and advised them to emulate those cherished qualities of their mother in their day to day lives as that will make her feel fulfilled wherever she is.

Speaking earlier, Hon. Ikechukwu Apugo , thanked the APC Chairman ,Mr Donatus Nwamkpa and the delegation of the party for identifying with his family, as he noted that he has been consoled by their presence.
He further described his late mother Dorathy Apugo as a woman who devoted her life for a dedicated service to God and humanity ,stressing that it will be difficult to forget all the moral principles she had imparted in them.

Some members of the Executive Council that was at the visit include the State Executive Secretary, Bar. Perfect Okorie, the Zonal Vice Chairman, Abia South, Hon. Orji Chikeziem Monday, the Zonal Chairman, Abia Central, Chief Ikechi Owebi.

Also in attendance were the Youth Leader, Prince Chibueze Apugo, the Zonal Women Leader of Abia Central, Lady Ngozi Ogbuagu, the Zonal Women’s Leader Abia Central, Lady Josephine Chukwu;
the Zonal Youth Leader Abia Central, the party CSO, Col. Emeka Chilaka retired,
Hon. Carlos Nnabugwu and Obioma Ugboajah.
