The traditional Ruler of Ekeoba Kingdom His Royal Kingship Eze Ambassador Iheanyichukwu Nwokenna (Oba The Great) has felicitated the Muslim Community in Nigeria on occasion of this year’s EID-EL KABIR Celebration.
Eze Ambassador Nwokenna while also congratulating the Muslim faithful world over, called on them to imbibe the spirit of peace, love, sacrifice and tolerance which prophet muhammad was known for and also use the period of the celebration to pray for peace and stability of the Nigeria nation.
The Royal Father who decried the level of insecurity prevailing in all nooks and crannies of the country, said that the prevailing insecurity can only be surmounted when Nigerians seek the face of God through prayers.
“The level of insecurity in our country has reached a stage where all of us irrespective of ethnic and religious divides have to hand the affairs of Nigeria to God” Eze Nwokenna said.
Eze Nwokenna while also describing as scary news of attacks on public institutions and wanton destruction of lives and properties across the country, called for the overhaul of the Nigerian security architecture.
The Royal Father who is one of the revered traditional Rulers in Abia state seized the opportunity of the event to urge the Muslim Community in Abia to keep living in peace with their host communities and avoid acts capable of worsening the already tensed atmosphere
